Groups involved in providing Community Support at North Pine:

Aboriginal Reconciliation

North Pine Anglican Parish supports Aborignal Reconciliation.

All Sorts Group

A social gathering for anyone. Activities include games and morning tea held the first Wednesday of each month.

Easter Festival

The Parish is a strong supporter of the annual Easter festival held at Leis Park Lawnton on the weekend prior to Easter.

Hostel Visiting

The Parish has visiting teams who regularly visit the residents of Pilgrim Hostel (Uniting Church) and Inverpine (RSL).

LinC (Love in the Name of Christ)

LinC empowers Australian churches to demonstrate the unconditional love of Christ to people in need in their communities.

The objectives of LinC are to:

enable people in local churches to network and share their human and material resources in response to needs in their community.
mobilise the untapped potential of church people to serve with a view to empowering people to develop personal skills of self-reliance.
work in conjunction with human services agencies.
offer assistance to all people regardless of belief, gender, race or ethnic background.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 till 11:30 providing support for mothers with young children.

People in Need

Our Church offers pastoral support for families struggling, especially with young children. We have a Care Cupboard which provides basic needs in crisis situations. Contact Serena Taylor [0411640003]
