St John's Kids' Church
Kid's Church meets as part of the 9am service at St John's and caters for children 12 and under
For the under threes including toddlers and babies, who want to stay close to parents. Parents may also use this room at their leisure. This room is located outside the south door with viewing into the church and speakers enabling parent involvement in the service. Colouring in, books and soft toys provided.
For the three to six year olds and is a wonderful opportunity for learning and fun, with specific age related activities which coincide with the adult church themes. This is a great time for your children to learn about Jesus as their friend, and grow in living for Him.
This is a time of fun for seven to twelve year olds with activities and age related material enabling your children to grow in the love of Jesus. The material is interactive, multimedia and gives the children a great experience of learning about the Bible and committing their lives to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
North Pine Tiny Tots
North Pine Anglican Parish Tiny Tots meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the hall from 9.30 – 11.30am. During this time the children play, do activities and have morning tea and the Mums (and sometimes Dads) get to chat and have some sweets and savouries over a cuppa. Children range in ages from newborn right through to pre Prep. If interested, please contact Ann Youngman on 3889 2938.
Once a term we generally try to have a Mum’s event of a weekend where we can all go out to lunch and have a good chat without having to worry about where the kids are. We also try to have one excursion for the whole group per term, whether it be to a park or even the zoo!! Throughout the year we also try to organise some family days where older siblings and Dads are invited to come and meet the playgroup crowd, giving them a chance to come and join in all the fun.
Financially, we each pay a small fee each week and are supported by the North Pine Anglican Church.
